Uncoated super light duty 550 °C glass fibre welding blanket weighing 580 g/m.

Approved to BSEN 1869:1997 and tested to BS476:Pt7 Class 1.

SUMMARY
It is essential for hot work & welding tasks to be contained and
safe at all times. It is vital that security precautions are put in
place to prevent spatter damage or the ignition of materials.
TARGET APPLICATIONS
The typical blanket is made out of fire retardant or fire-resistant
materials and is an essential accessory for industrial welding
environments. Whilst it is possible to melt and damage a welding
blanket, they will never burn, therefore reducing the risk of a fire
developing during hot work operations. This type of protective
product has multiple uses and can be employed as an
emergency solution in the event that stray sparks causing a fire.

excellent abrasive and fraying resistance. Retains flexibility after exposure to heat. 1150g/m² weight. Inherently
non-flammable. Test for flammability unnecessary.
