DESCRIPTION

The MIG400E has 18 adjustable positions over a current range from 50 – 400A and is rated 400A @ 25% duty cycle. The output current and wire feed speed are controlled using a simple to use potentiometer knob, whilst heat settings are easily adjusted using a multi-position voltage switch. Features:

SUMMARY
A versatile, industrial three-phase DC MIG Welding machine
package, with Euro connection and 15kg 4-roll modular wire
feed assembly.
Built to be durable, flexible and easy to use, the MIG400E
Powerstep is supplied complete with a 3m Euro style MIG torch,
earth clamp and accessories, and features industrial cylinder
support at the rear, fan-on-demand cooling, step-voltage
adjustment and thermostatic protection.
TARGET APPLICATIONS
The MIG 400E Powerstep is suitable for heavy industrial
fabrication applications, and can accommodate up to 15kg reels
of solid or cored MIG welding wire, of 0.8mm to 1.6mm diameter.
The removable modular wire-feed unit system is supplied fitted
internally within the main power-source cabinet, but can be easily
removed and connected via interconnecting cables for use at a
distance (1.5m – 9m) from the main unit.
FURTHER INFORMATION
The MIG 400E Powerstep operates from a 415v 3ph input power supply, and is supplied with a plugless primary cable.
Output current and wire-feed speed are controlled via a simple potentiometer knob, and heat settings are adjusted via
the multi-position voltage switch. This model also features adjustable burn-back and a spot-weld timer.
